Kikuchi Biennale XI
The Present of Ceramics 

Kikuchi Biennale, held once every two years since 2004, is a contemporary ceramic competition hosted by the Kikuchi Kanjitsu Memorial Tomo Museum. For over 20 years, Tomo Museum has been dedicated to promoting contemporary ceramics from the capital city of Japan, Tokyo, and organizing this contemporary ceramic competition has been a significant part of this mission.
In Kikuchi Biennale, we accept ceramic artworks regardless of the content of works or the qualifications of the participants in order to observe the present state and the possibilities of contemporary ceramic artworks. Selected works will be on display at Tomo Museum for roughly three months as part of the Biennale Exhibition.
